Browser storage
Cookie Policy
SearchEngineAnswer uses local functional storage and Google services for measurement and advertising. The controls for these functions are separate.

What is used now
- Site storage preference: local browser storage remembers functional preferences. This setting is not a Google analytics or advertising consent switch.
- Checklist progress: interactive checklists can save completion data in local storage on the device.
- Installed app cache: the service worker can cache static styles, scripts, images, fonts, and an offline page.
- WordPress cookies: administrators, logged-in users, and commenters may receive cookies needed for authentication, security, or form convenience.
Optional categories
Google Analytics 4, AdSense and Google privacy-message scripts are configured on the site. Analytics measures visits and site use. Advertising services may use cookies or identifiers for ad delivery and measurement, depending on region, provider settings and available consent choices. An ad script can load before ads are approved or served. Consult Google’s cookie information and partner-site data policy for provider details.
Manage or clear storage
Use “Site storage settings” in the footer for local functional preferences. Use Google’s privacy message or privacy-options link, when available, for Google advertising choices. The local site-storage panel does not block Google services. You can also clear cookies, site data, local storage, and service-worker caches in your browser settings. Clearing them can reset checklist progress, privacy choices, and installed-app offline files.
Future changes
Google services are already configured. Changes to providers, purposes or consent settings require a review of this page and the actual browser behavior. Where consent is required, optional processing must follow the applicable choice. Browser storage duration depends on the provider, configuration and user controls; clearing local site preferences does not delete provider-side records.
