Browser storage
Cookie Policy
SEA keeps the current storage model deliberately small and separates essential functions from optional measurement or advertising.
Last updated August 6, 2026
What is used now
- Privacy preference: local browser storage remembers the necessary-only choice.
- Checklist progress: interactive checklists can save completion data in local storage on the device.
- Installed app cache: the service worker can cache static styles, scripts, images, fonts, and an offline page.
- WordPress cookies: administrators, logged-in users, and commenters may receive cookies needed for authentication, security, or form convenience.
Optional categories
Optional analytics and advertising tracking are currently off and no optional tracking service is configured. The preference panel reports that state instead of presenting a misleading “accept all” button.
Manage or clear storage
Use the “Cookie settings” link in the footer to save the current necessary-only preference. You can also clear cookies, site data, local storage, and service-worker caches in your browser settings. Clearing them can reset checklist progress, privacy choices, and installed-app offline files.
Future changes
If optional analytics or advertising is introduced, it must remain disabled until the appropriate choice is recorded where consent is required. This page will identify the provider, purpose, retention, and control before activation.
